Chef John Rooney is a graduate from the Culinary Institute of America in Upstate New York. John was an Executive Chef for a leading National hotel chain before taking up the position of Executive Chef at Sand Creek County Club in Chesterton, Indiana. In 2004, John opened "The Culinary Connection" to bring a better awareness of culinary knowledge to the home cook. Chef Rooney has won several prestigious awards and is honored to hold both Silver and Bronze ACF medals.

We are very pleased to welcome him as Head Chef of our new U-Cook Cooking School, bringing an entertaining culinary experience!
